I need a favour...

I've been asked out on another date.

My initial reaction was...Woo Hoo! - How good is online dating when you can get asked out on a date while you are sitting in your pj's cosied up at home? No effort required.

My next reaction was...also Woo Hoo! - That's when I saw the profile photos of the guy that was doing the inviting. Hot!

My next, next reaction was...Woo Hoo again! - Mr Hot-to-Trot was suggesting we go to the German markets for a gluhwein and a bratwurst. I love the markets! What a good date it would be!

Then my reaction after that was...Damn!

I had suddenly remembered my own rule. The rule that I made only on Monday. The rule that went something like... 1/ Always, always, always go on a pre-date first. That stupid rule.

And that's where you come in....

I know it's only Wednesday. I know it will make it hard for you to trust me again. I know you'll wonder if I'm going to go back on everything I say.

I just hoped though, that you might be able to ignore that little comment. Pretend I never made it. If anyone asks, just be like..'Pre-date? What's a pre-date? Never heard of it. Sounds like a stupid idea to me...'

That would be great.

And in actual fact, if I promise to neck the gluhwein and eat the sausage really quickly, it could be like a pre-date anyway...

is this the guy with small nipples?

No this one hasn't mentioned his nipple size.

I wonder what the definition of a 'small' nipple is?

And aren't small nipples better anyway?

(And if you don't know what we are talking about, go to the comments section in The Date Date part 2 and all will become clear...)

Any opportunity to go to the Christmas markets and drink gluhwein must be accepted as the German markets are brilliant.

Pah, rules are made to be broken after all!

Hey, small nipples here.
I went on a date at Manchester Christmas markets. It was my suggestion - thought it'd be quaint and romantic, but the girl I went with turned out to be a real bore - wouldn't go on the big wheel, the ice ring, the slidey thing or go see a show. We ended up walking round Selfridges. Nice.

Pre-date? That's silly. That's like brushing your teeth before going to the dentist. Oh wait...

It was a good idea Small Nipples. Everyone knows that everyone loves the markets. There's probably only about one person in the world that doesn't like them and it sounds like you found her. Did you buy anything nice in Selfridges?!

Workforced - I'm unsure about pre-dates myself. Have spent a few posts deliberating the very concept. Am quite keen on teeth-brushing though..

I didn't. I did buy a nice hat from a stall though. It had a bobble and sticky down bits that covered my ears. The date thought it was vile.

That sounds delightful!
